Non-Invasive Cardiology

Dr. Michael Mollod has been practicing cardiology in Sarasota since 1997.  After obtaining dual Bachelor of Science degrees in chemistry and biology from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and then medical school at Tufts University in Boston, he completed his cardiology fellowship at Emory University in Atlanta.  Dr. Mollod practices general invasive, non-interventional cardiology with special emphasis on consultative cardiology including expertise in cardiac catheterization, echocardiography, and nuclear cardiology.  He has been selected by Sarasota Magazine as one of the areas Top Doctors for many years.   Dr. Mollod resides in Sarasota with his wife and two children and is well known locally for his exploits as a competitive long distance runner, being amongst the top ranked master’s marathon runners in Florida.
