Kaitlyn Murray is a native Floridian born and raised in Brandon, Fl. She graduated from the University of New Orleans in 2018 where she earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Biological Sciences. While there, she also played Division I indoor and beach volleyball. 

 Before going on to complete her physician assistant education, Kaitlyn gained clinical patient care experience for 2 years working as a medical scribe in Winter Haven Hospital Emergency Department, as well as at the USF Med-Peds office. Simultaneously, Kaitlyn also worked as a patient care technician with a Certified Nursing Assistant license at Tampa General Hospital. 

 She received her Master’s degree in Physician Assistant Studies December 2023 from Florida State University, and became a board-certified Physician Assistant shortly after. Kaitlyn officially joined Heart Specialists of Sarasota in early 2024 to begin practicing inpatient hospitalist cardiology. 

 Kaitlyn is passionate about spending time with family, boating, exercising, and playing volleyball. She lives locally with her husband.
