Nurse Practitioner

Andrea Walborn-Haynie is an ANCC Certified Nurse Practitioner with over 25 years of experience in Cardiology and in-patient cardiac care. After receiving her BSN in 1995, she developed an early passion for cardiac care through her work in the CCU, ICU and Cardiac Cath Lab. She holds a Master of Science in Nursing from the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey and is board certified through the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC).

Andrea has extensive experience in Acute Myocardial Infarction management, complex Congestive Heart Failure and Women’s Cardiovascular health. Earlier in her Career, she played a role in the C-PORT trial and the development of the Acute MI Program at Somerset Medical Center. She also served as a feature Presenter for her hospital’s annual Cardiology Conference, educating clinicians on Acute MI and gender specific differences in heart disease.

Since relocating to Florida, Andrea continues to provide comprehensive inpatient cardiac care with a focus on improving clinical outcomes, compassionate communication, and high-quality patient experiences.

Outside of her work, Andrea enjoys spending time with her husband, their three children and a variety of pets. She stays active through spin classes, biking and running. She also enjoys the Florida outdoor lifestyle, including boating, fishing, and beach activities.
